Artfield is pleased to announce the appointment of Shigeyoshi Kashima from Kashima Arts as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 2025. Mr. Kashima, one of the founders of Artfield, has been an active contributor to the company since its inception. He succeeds Mr. Suzuki, who has served as CEO for the past three years, leading the company with dedication and vision.

Under Mr. Kashima’s leadership, Artfield is set to continue its growth in the art market, bringing with him extensive experience in Japanese art and antiques and a deep commitment to the industry. Mr. Suzuki will remain with the company, continuing to work alongside Mr. Kashima to help improve the art market and further Artfield’s mission.

In addition to this leadership change, Artfield is excited to announce a partnership with CCC ART LAB to host a charity art auction in support of the Japan Foundation this November. The event aims to showcase the synergy between various sectors of the art business, highlighting the power of collaboration within the industry.
